Mineral Vegan Cruelty-Free Eyeshadow Makeup Review - Addictive Cosmetics Purple Eye Makeup

Purple eyeshadows are one of my favorite eyeshadow colors to wear. Purples really help enhance certain eye and skin colors, they are vibrant and colorful, and perfect for summer. The purple eyeshadows I will be reviewing today are mineral eyeshadows by the brand Addictive Cosmetics

The Addictive Cosmetics eyeshadows are: Vegan, cruelty-free, all natural, handmade, non-comedogenic, gluten-free, soy-free, hypoallergenic, and made without harsh chemicals, synthetic dyes, preservatives, fragrances, dyes, parabens, or fillers. The Addictive Cosmetic eyeshadows are also made with shea butter, vitamin E, coconut oil, and castor oil

I will be reviewing five of this brand's loose eyeshadows today: two glitters to use as eyeshadow toppers, and three glittery eyeshadow shades.

Vino

This is a dark plum shade with lots of sparkle and brown tones. This is a color that will also compliment tan darker skin tones nicely. The swatch above shows this color without an eye primer, and below is how this shade looks on the eyes with an eye primer:

One thing to note about this shade is that it looks very different in color when used with an eye primer. Without an eye primer, this color is a deep plum purple color, but with an eye primer, this color changes to a more brown silvery gray shade. So depending on the color you want, you can choose to wear this shade with or without an eye primer.

Shameless

This shade is a lighter purple with strong heavy red tones and blue and white glitter flecks through it. Normally red eyeshadows do not look good on me, but this shade has enough purple in it, that it still looks nice on me. Here is how this shade looks on my eyes:

Ursula

This shade looks very different in the container than it does on the skin. In the container, this shade looks very dark, but on the skin it looks much lighter. This shade has brown tones and blue glitter flecks throughout it. The swatch above shows this color without an eye primer, and below is how this shade looks on the eyes with an eye primer:

Text Me

This shade is a lighter plum purple shade. It is pure glitter so you need to use this as an eyeshadow topper, rather than wear it alone as an eyeshadow. I applied this shade on top of a dark matte purple eyeshadow with an eye primer, and this is how it came out:

Wicked

This shade looks very different in the container than it does on the skin. It is a medium dark purple shade with hints of pink; it is pure glitter, so it should be used as an eyeshadow topper, rather than worn alone as an eyeshadow. I applied this shade on top of a dark matte purple eyeshadow with an eye primer, and this is how it turned out:

Final thoughts: I love all of these shades! The eyeshadows were easy to remove with oil, but the two eyeshadow toppers felt rougher on the skin when I went to remove them with oil, compared to the other eyeshadows. All-in-all though, I love all of the eyeshadows and I think they are very good quality. I also love that they are mineral eyeshadows and that they are made with more natural ingredients, so I do recommend the eyeshadows by this brand.
