Unclean Tap Water In Rich & Poor Areas In Developed & Developing Countries, Including The United States

Most people know that in many foreign countries it can be hard to get access to clean water, especially in the developing world. However, one thing that many people do not realize is that even in developed nations, the water is not always clean. Many Americans even believe that the water that comes out of their tap, the water in the sink in the kitchen and in the bathtub, is clean. Unfortunately, I have to disappoint you by telling you that you are very wrong about this. Tap water is generally not clean, and the more economically disadvantaged the area is that you live in, the dirtier and more contaminated the water will likely be.

Even if you live in a wealthy area, if the area has a huge boom in people coming into that area because of its reputation, things like water pipes will need to be worked on and more buildings created to accommodate the large sudden increase in people moving into that area. This means that there may be constant construction in that area that can last anywhere from a month to a year.

When water pipes are worked on, you often get brown tap water and the water may smell bad. Generally though, wealthy areas are given more attention by government, but this does not guarantee that the water is the best quality. So given this, image how poor water quality is in the poorest neighborhoods.

An example of this problem with the water is the lawsuit for millions of dollars that occurred a few years back because the water was toxic and full of lead in Black neighborhoods. Here is the information about this:

I am going to avoid a discussion about depopulation control or hatred and racism towards an entire race because this topic can get very ugly very fast. What is important is that you understand that regardless of whether you live in an upscale more well-to-do neighborhood, or in a poor one, the tap water should not be trusted. Today I am going to tell you exactly what makes our tap water unclean and why you should not drink it.

Bacteria In Tap Water Can Make You Obese, Develop Skin Conditions, and Health Problems

You can find all kinds of bacteria and pathogens in tap water, such as:

1. E. coli
2. Salmonella
3. Hepatitis
4. Giardia

In addition to these pathogens, you have to worry about mold, protozoa, heavy metal chemicals, hormones, and even viruses in tap water.

Some of the toxic heavy metals that are in tap water include:

1. Arsenic
2. Lead
3. Mercury
4. Aluminum
5. Cadmium
6. Chromium
7. Pesticides

Drinking tap water can cause subtle side effects such as acne, headaches, or weight gain and obesity. More extreme side effects can occur as well that are common in waterborne illnesses such as diarrhea, stomach bloating, gas, cramping, pain, dizziness, and nausea. Mental impairment and disease can also occur.

A lot of people experience side effects from drinking tap water that they never connect to the water itself, such as regular gassiness, stomach bloating, cramps, headaches, and tiredness.

What Can You Do To Protect Yourself From Unclean Tap Water?

There are four things you can do to protect yourself from toxic tap water:

1. Don't drink it - I never drink tap water. EVER ⚠

2. Use hot water - When I bath, I make sure the water is as hot as I can tolerate to help kill some of the germs in it. This won't kill all of the germs because some bacteria can survive extreme temperatures, but it will at least kill some of them.

3. Put a solution in the water that will kill germs in the water - Allow only this purified water to touch your skin.

In the old days, slaves passed down a method to purify contaminated water, and many southern Black families still follow this. They were taught to use bleach. The government, the Department of Health, suggests purifying water with bleach on their website as well. I would never drink water treated with bleach though 😡

You need very little bleach to purify the water for bathing. The thing is though, I am not comfortable using bleach to bath all the time because I worry about Cancer, so I alternate between this and the Natural Herbal Lotion for purifying my bath water:

4. Put a water purifier on your shower head and all sink faucets in your home - This will help filter out some of the toxic chemicals and metals that are in the water.

Final Thoughts: Regardless of where you live, be hesitant to trust tap water because despite what you might think or believe, there is unclean water everywhere. So do not assume that what comes out of your tap is clean. Do not assume that the water you bathe with is completely clean either. I only suggest drinking bottled purified water from stores. If the water coming out of your tap is questionable, if it smells weird, looks brown, is discolored, if government is working on the water pipes, or if there is a lot of construction in the area where you live, be safe and purify any water that you bathe with beforehand. It's better to be safe than sorry.
